Rode my mare for the first time in 2 years today only to her new weaning home..so despite first time riding and leaving her son behind..she was a absolute *SUPERSTAR* she neighed a couple of times and was on her toes a bit but was mega well behaved and when in the field with her new rather tasty new gelding fieldmate I dont think she has gave her son a second thought...:D

Haha SU she is a trollope always has been when we had to wait awhile to get her in foal we all said its because she was enjoying herself too much ;):D but hey when we went AI first time I kid you not

Thats brilliant news, i was wondering how you got on. How did her son take it?
:)

Well Rio (her boy) got a little upset but soon settled I put them in the summer fields to hopefully take there mind off mum...which worked apart from little pony (grey in siggy) seemed more upset than Rio :eek: which would'nt be so bad but since she was pregnant and had rio she has been nothing but awful to lil pony...so WHY he is missing her

Haha oh dear, well at least Rio is settled, perhaps little pony doesn't like change :p
Still glad it was a smooth transition for you :)

Thank you sarahsum1 I had been quietly been having kittens over the whole event  not so much getting on my mare *despite 17'3 being along way down:rolleyes:* but more the fear of the unknown...but all has gone swimmingly apart from the grey one :rolleyes:
