It’s funny how what I want/need has changed in the last year or so

Historically something Welsh and/or Arab, gelding around 15-15.2hh, started but ready to be bought on would be just the thing
Enter HQ ref 301369

But he just doesn’t really do it for me somehow?!

If I were to buy now, I don’t have transport anymore or a regular trainer and my aspirations for what I want to do with my own horse are now along the lines of something a bit older that has stayed sound(!), is safe, has enough schooling to be a pleasant/mannerly/enjoyable ride to do a bit of everything on from the get go. And preferably a mare.
Enter HQ ref 289789 her neck doesn’t look to match the rest of her body but she sounds sweet.

Haha cause the wind was howling in them last night and I suddenly thought.. ‘should I’ ????

In all honesty, BB is quite demanding of me so probably isnt wise to consider another till he is retired ?

These two are so my type (I just want a bigger version of 13.3 field ornament bc I miss how much fun we had). 15hh still a bit small for 5'7 gangly me though.

Alternatively Toffee is so cute.

Edited: Think they're all from the same dealer incidentally lol

I am sooooo tempted by this filly. Dam was a para dressage horse too, so apparently has the loveliest attitude.

ETA I know this is meant to be imaginary but if she’s still for sale when my other mare is out of rehab livery, then I am seriously going to struggle not to make an offer!

Thats a seriously nice horse ?

I absolutely love imaginary horse shopping, looking at ads online and thinking about which horse/s I would buy now if I was in a position to do so. I’m sure I’m not alone! I thought it would be fun to share the ads of our pretend future steeds. Show me your ideal next horse! ?

- please no negativity (criticism of ads, conformation etc.), it’s just for fun

- ignore the prices ?

- ideally horses which you would realistically choose now if you had the space/time for them (ie. not Valegro sorts unless you ride at that level)

In my case, I would love to have something on the cobby side of around 15-15.2hh max for hacking. I’ve owned and ridden a lot of horses now (as a happy hacker/trail rider) and no longer see the need for a big horse, as long as one can carry me comfortably. I would love one day to have a horse ridden bitless and with a western saddle and to go off exploring and bird watching with them.

I’ve seen some gorgeous cob types on Horsequest lately but they sell fast and ads get removed. This girl looks lovely though and I would love to go exploring with her! http://www.horsequest.co.uk/advertisment/300678

Who would you buy?
Currently love this boy below who looks to be a really honest chap

And always have a thing for a nice BWB but POA so this would suggest he'd be out of my price range
