when I went to check my filthy dirty horse tonight only to find the new livery yard's 'part livery service' involves making him immaculate

He has been turned away for 6mths and was covered in grime with knots in mane and tail (I had decided it would be my week-long project to get him back up together!!)

The poor groom must have been in there for HOURS getting rid of all that mud and grime

...I wonder if I ought to buy her a bottle of wine??...

Wow, that's some yard. I wonder whether they offer a one night B&B service - my horse could do with a spruce up!

I'd find out what she likes and get her some - shows you have put thought into it - I don't drink and peeps keep buying me wine, so not quite as 'nice' as if they ask and find out I like choccies! I get flowers a lot, too, and I'm not a vase-owner...

What an unexpectedly lovely thing to find, though - unlike my fellow who DELIBERATELY fully-coated himself in mud so we looked like tramps when we went to the beach yesterday
