Infact. What DO you all feed? :D

Okies, thanks.
Although, having read a bit more into raw feeding, maybe I'll jump on that bandwaggon with both of them. Food for thought, if you'll excuse the terrible pun.
Thanks as always guys.
:D

I can highly recommend it! I switched my Lab to RAW about a year ago and she looks fabulous on it - and I promise it really isn't difficult! We always fed our family dogs RAW when I was growing up (working dogs) and I really never liked the fact that our rescue Lab was on dry food so made the switch and haven't looked back. I had so much help from this forum so don't be afraid to ask away!

Raw chicken carcases ,beef and tripe mince, raw eggs are the staple diet here.Big dogs get two carcases, medium dogs (60lbs) get one ..and little` s like my border terriers get half a one.As a "garnish I add a bit of Wagg/Gilpa Supreme. Big treat though is a handful of Fish4dogs.The smell is divine..almost can get high on that! If it was`nt rather expensive they would get that as a garnish all the time, but at the mo it is just for mummy`s,oldies ..a special food.

Mind you,if they DO get some crappy tinned commercial stuff they love it..the doggy version of a Big Mac!

Land of Holistic Pets does a gourmet range that mine get for breakfast, and a kibble that they get at night. Mine are 16 yo MinPin, 7 yo Border Terrier and a nearly 2 yo Min Poodle

Big dog is on a tin of Pedigree and a half scoop of Wagg dried a day, Bonio for breakfast. Puppies are on 300g of Pedigree puppy food a day each, nothing else. We're switching super slowly to Wagg puppy food.

I think we're going to keep them on dried and maybe switch Brig to only dried.

Mainly raw but do use Dr johns silver as backup. My pup has had a good steady growth rate on raw but she is all round immature. Totally in proportion but immature. But I would rather that than what i experienced with my older dog on another complete feed recommended by some vets. His growth rate went through the roof and we nearly lost him at 9 months.

Royal Canin - and they seem fine on it. I'm vegetarian and whilst I know there are meat products in their food I can deal with it in the form it is in. Oh and the occasional bit of horse poo when they get the chance, and raw pizza, and anything else they find lying around. They are labs after all, and not fussy!

I've got 1 one on Skinners F&T salmon & rice and the other on Fish4Dogs Salmon as the Skinners gave him wind. If i had more pennies then i'd probably feed them both on fish4dogs.

The P@H wainwrights food is ok, my pair did well on the salmon & potato kibble but the price always seemed to be rising, it started at £25 and crept upto £31 when we swopped and i didn't feel it was worth that much. Also it seemed understocked in store so frequently they'd not have a bag left when we went so i either had to drive to another store or end up with a senior bag.

Raw meaty bones for me too, chicken, Lamb, game birds, venison, rabbit and pork, offal, fish, eggs and small amount of veg now and again.

My Labs get a bonio each for breakfast and a scoop of pedigree with lots of water and any scraps from our meals for tea, and they get massive bones from the butchers to munch on in their kennels.

Beef Skinners for Scoobs and he looks amazing! We were on Arden Grange and he looked good but he wasn't a big fan of it so we swapped to Skinners and he loves it!
He looks and feels well. 3/4 times a week he gets fish/eggs as a bit of variety and every couple of weeks he gets bone from my grandad/

He looks good on Skinners and a 15kg sack is likely going to last about 6 weeks or so as he is not a huge eater (although improved now on Skinners) and it only costs 17 quid!
