I am relatively new to the area and hoping to find a good all round instructor to help me bring on my mare.
We do not have an arena just yet so I was hoping to find someone local I could pop down to weekly for lessons ect and who would also be happy to come down and help me on site sometimes.

We have been for a couple of lessons with Paul Hayler in chelmsford and he is great but too expensive to go to regularly and it is a bit further away than I would like.

If you have any ideas please let me know.

Is she still active?
I did contact her at the start of the year regarding my tricky gelding and she said she was no longer riding ect

There is a lady in Coggeshall area on the a120 I think called Kate Mead, she has her own yard and arena. I went to her for bhs training and she is a fab instructor, I would def recommend her x

Thanks I will do a google search and see if I can find any contact details.
Has anyone had lessons with Sarah deanswood or Natalie Arnold?

Coen, suggest you pop onto Facebook and visit the Essex Riders page?
There are lots of instructors in this area and they vary immensely! It really depends what you want to do and how much you want to spend. Most of the good ones tend to specialise but there are a few who generalise. PM me if you want more info?
