What a shame. All these things at such a young age is a recipe for a long life of trouble. Surely it must be genetics, to be that sensitive to eating a couple of mouthfuls of haylage. It’s a sad outcome but in some way probably the best. There doesn’t seem a positive way to word that under the circumstances:(

I think actually it was very brave, and of course completely the right thing. Hard though when you are 22 and you bought your dream horse as a foal.
I don't think he came from the best breeders and it seems his full sister, a year younger, has a lot of problems as well.
