Insurance claims query

Just wondering with this one. I put my 18 year old on to the accidental injuries policy instead of the full vet policy as he was exempt from the majority of things due to laminitis. He’s managed to end up with cellulitis and a course of anti biotics with a few intravenous doses and an out of hours call out. This was due to a cut in his fetlock. What do you think the chances of being covered are?

as he's got an external wound which is what those limited cover policies usually hinge on, I would say you stand a good chance.

As long as your vet has stated that the proximate cause was the cut, then there's a good chance your insurers will accept your claim
