Hi
Ok, this may be a really dumb question but can you insure a LOU? Is it like a veteran and they cover public liability and accidents or will they cover vets just not whats connected to the LOU? The next question being is if the pony/horse is covered under the riders Pony Club insurance (which im told covers anyone riding the animal with consent) would it need insuring separately with an insurance company.
Only reason i ask is we are likely to be loaning a horse which has LOU and the current owners haven't got him insured as just using the Pony Club insurance they have but obviously i need to put something in the loan agreement about insurance. Im not in the Pony Club as too old but his main rider is so would be/has been covered by this while riding him.
Thanks
Jeni
