Iridologists for your horse

Has anyone used one for thier horse? was it a good or bad experience? do you think it helped and would you use on again?

Not used one as such but our back lady does iridology. Last time she was out she had a look at them - didn't pick much up as such, but then there wasn't much wrong with them.

I found it really interesting - she did also have a look at me (although she doesn't technically do human iridology) and picke up some of my old injuries quite accurately!!

Now, I'm normally the world's biggest sceptic but sometimes, just sometimes, these weird things do work. I have a very scientific friend who used the black box (radionics) on one of her horses as a last resort - reckoned it was very effective.

Not at all!! I'm not sure either of my horses has tarot cards or can shuffle......

It was a subject of discussion at the yard today so I just wondered if there was anyone on here with experience

I think you might struggle to find a frog that can read not without a lot of kissing at least

O come on everyone! The OP has asked a fair question and you all just want to take the mick. My mum had her cataracts done last year and the eye surgeon told her that there is something in iridology. I have a science degree and I use homeopathy on both myself and my horse. I wouldn't waste my money if it didn't show the results. Two of my colleagues at work are high-flying scientists (internationally known) and also use homeopathy. Don't knock anything until you have tried it (although I do draw the line at swinging crystals over horses backs!)

I think the OP knows we aren't having a dig about it really Was just a bit of light hearted fun on a boring Wednesday night. And I was being truthful about my friend and the black box - in fact, I know someone else trying it themselves for their own medical conditions.
