FUMING, was on the fields with Biscuit and a GSD and a god knows what came bounding up to us. Biscuit is not good with bigger dogs, we had just managed to get him used to charles spaniel sized dogs without him attacking them.
So these dogs come bounding over, both of them minus collars and obviously showing no intention to recall to their owner, Biscuit (who was on a lead) had already been picked up by this point was growling like mad. Their owner shouted 'don't worry their friedly' , 'well mine isn't and will attack' I replied.
At this point the other dog (don't know breed) jumped up at Biscuit, trying to bite him, and he caught my arm, it didn't leave a mark but it certainly hurt. Now I wasn't standing for myself of my dog getting injured because some idiot is unable to control his.
DISCLAIMER - I am one of the biggest animal lovers you will ever meet and I would never ever extremly hurt an animal, I want to be a RSPCA officer for petes sake I'm not going to go round abusing animals.
So as this animal went to jump up to bite again, I put my foot on its chest and firmly pushed it away, I would like to point out that I did not kick the other dog, I used the sole of my foot to move a dog away who was a danger to myself, my dog and my friend who was with me. And used my command voice to say 'Leave' the other dog sulked away back to its owner and the GSD quickly followed.
The rest of the walk was relativly boring, Biscuit was very shaken up and we have gone back to stage one with his socialising but we will get there. We also got caught in a rain shower
