Is anyone else ENJOYING this weather?!?!

I love this weather but believe that it is meant to be wind and rain for the weekend, bah!

I love it! OK so my horses' fitness plan has gone out of the window which is annoying but I love nothing more than going up the yard in my massive winter coat wearing three pairs of socks, and warming my hands up on my horse

if it just defrosted a little bit would be good...so not really liking it at the mo even our indoor school is starting to freeze (it is still useable at mo just walk trot) the yard is icy and my horse is a nutter can't turnout cause the fields are sooo hard and u can't get there anyway as too icy

went to lunge her today and she had a fit b4 we even got to the school!!! not looking forward to riding her lol

I love the fact that everywhere is dry and mud free, and the fact that there is no wind makes it all the more bearable but when you've got a fit clipped horse stranded in the stable with ice on the yard and the school frozen solid it starts to get a bit dodgy.. thankfully there is a walker!
However, if I had a big fluffy hairy horse who live out 24/7 then yes I would be loving it because the cold is far preferable to rain/mud and those living out will no doubt be stuffed full of hay, lovely and warm in their hairy overcoats and loving the lull in the normal winter misery of sloshy horrible knee deep mud!

It is pretty...and love the fact it's dry. I am just happy I have lots of logs in and help with my horses, not enjoying taking water from the bath to the stables whilst hobbling on crutches at 6am before work! At least it's not too slippery!

Im loving it - one of mine has mudfever so while the fields are frozen he can go out without my worrying about the mud!
The only poo side is my menage has been frozen for a week now.

I'd much rather have cold and dry than wet BUT the frozen taps are not funny any more. I haven't had water for well over a week and I'm having to take water from work for the horses (5 of them so quite a lot of water). I can't take it from home as I live in a second floor flat without a lift and just cannot carry it downstairs . . .

Cold & dry with no wind is fine by me. We don't do much riding at this time of year anyway so it's not an issue but I can see why it would bug those that do.

And no problems with running water as we have rivers on 2 sides of the fields.

Both schools are frozen solid so cant ride, I am at work during the day so cant hack because it is dark by the time I get to the yard...

It is seriously p***ing me off now!
