Is anyone elses pooch like a baby ?

I have two big boxers Baxter and bailey baxter is more my mums and bailey is my little lady she never leaves my side but lately it's getting worse she crys when I go out she hates my OH being near me she sneaks on to my bed in the middle of the night my mum says it's because I take her everywhere even out riding anyone elses dogs glued to their hip?

I have to work away sometimes so they need to be used to their own company and I like my dogs and my OH to get on

But my big dog is always very happy to see me come home and has to high five me in the face and try to grab my hands in welcome, which is always nice

No because i like my dog to be a dog and not dependent on people.

Being dependent on a person leads to lots of bad behavior.

My little Sheltie follows me everywhere, and hides behind me if other half tries to walk him without me!

My boxer is a total baby though... she's sitting on my knee right now

Leah had separation anxiety when we first had her, she was mostly attached to my mum, but now she knows that she is mine. She used to look for me if I wasn't home from school on time, and when I went for a sleepover she would be miserable until I got home. She's not really dependant on me though... it's not like she always wants to be in the same room as me, and she's never been an attention-seeking dog.
