I'm a livery at a great yard near Chigwell, Essex.
Suddenly 4 livery vacancies have come up due to change in owners personal circumstances and relocating.
Yard manager may have to shut yard as has to pay for boxes whether full or not.
Dont want to leave-i love it there!! Horses very happy and great turnout, hacking, school etc.
Yard Manager takes such good care of horses(and owners!), took me ages to find this place. She teaches her liveries from £10-£20 an hour(BHS instructor).
Also there would be possibility of a space in my horsebox if interseted in competing(BE90/BE100, British novice showjumping and dressage)...would be nice to have some company and share diesel:).........

I hope you find people but i would be very put off by the possibility of the yard closing each time a few people leave - it happens and i would expect the yo to be able to cope with it for a reasonable amount of time rather than booting me out!

Thankyou for your post, and I think you have a fair comment.
I've been there for 3 years and other liveries been with her for over 20 years and never had this issue.
Always have had a waiting list before, but more and more of the people we know have sold their horses due to recent financial circumstances and commitments.
If I thought it wasn't a 'stable' environment(sorry, pardon the pun) I wouldn't be there as nothing worse for both horse and rider
