Is anyone still having probs with Flies??

Ollie had a fair few flying round him this evening, is anyone else suffering?


The worst bit was, I noticed one on my top and the little bugger has bitten my boob!! OMg it's starting to irritate

Yes!! One of my boys has come in with a couple of whopping fly bites on his shoulder. I got one in the eye when I was riding in the field last night.....and I swallowed one tonight when I turned round to talk to someone and sort of ate it (it just flew in )
Not a good couple of days on the fly front!!!

Yes as weather still warm, they won't die off till it gets colder

Oh yes - hate the little suckers - we'll have problems particularly early evening until we get some decent frosts - 2008 that wasn't until after Christmas - i get bitten bl**dy everywhere - spend forever itching - I'm sure my mates think I've got fleas !

there seemed more tonight then earlier in the year
they've bitten the sheaths of our 2 horses red raw today.
thought the frost we had at the weekend would have done away with them.

Yes, new horse had quite a few on her yesterday so sprayed her with fly spray and she ended up with lots more flys on her!!

We've had loads of tiny little midgy things flying round the yard the last couple of days. Horrid things, like fleas with wings!!

Blue was stomping the entire time he was tied up earlier cus of them, poor boy...even after I coated him in fly spray.

Thought we were through with fly season

Yep, I noticed their return at the weekend, but smaller midgy things than before. Annoying and pointless IMHO!

We have tons the yearling is going crazy with them!! they also seem incapable of there actions just pinging off everything!!
