Is it just me this happens to??!!

I didnt mean to single you out by quoting you btw, it's something I hear from lots of folk but in general I think its false economy x
 
I don't have the crotch problem any more - used to as a teenager. Now all my jeans and breeches wear in a different place, just below my left buttock. When my jeans die this is where they tear every time. I am currently sporting a thigh hole in my Rugged breeches but you can't see it when I am on so I just keep them going and weirdly the suede is only bobbly on the right side. But they are about 6 years old so they have done well.
 
I’m a right fatty but have never had that problem with breeches ?‍♀️
Jeans on the other hand are definitely a victim of chub rub
 
This happens to me too - more often with jeans and leggings than jods but my jods will go there eventually too. I get the "chub rub" if I wear a skirt/dress without tights too so it's obviously a body shape thing. My thighs are actually fairly presentable but any weight I do carry there is obviously on the inside!
 
Never had it with my jods/breeches but I have had it with jeans when I’ve ridden in them. (Tbh I usually just ride in whatever I’m wearing but more recently I’ve been riding in leggings)

Converted to suede full seat after going through so many crotches, my jeans wear at the upper thigh consistently.
You can pick up reasonable ones mine are 40 quid derby house ones and I've had them about 10 years now ?

I can't bear the feel of them. I tried an equetech pair and it felt like I was wearing a nappy or something ??

I have a non horsey but very style conscious friend ( always likes to be ahead of the latest trend ). She said to me one day " I drove through your ( VERY horsey ) village on Saturday and all the girls were wearing leggings with knee socks and ankle boots . I don't know if I should get some too ."
