You know my Luche Warmblood Gelding? Well, I'm really worried about him as his doodahs began to produce milky stuff - I'm pretty sure of this.

The enormous yard cats were lapping it up like there was no tomorrow. They ARE huge though, mice must be good this year.

I decided to give them a squeeze and managed a decent cupful.

He's definitely not a gelding. Anymore, anyway. I must write to the Island breeders and get his passport adjusted to state his new sex. Sorry, HER. It would explain his/her unusual behaviour lately with ol' biting problems I'm having.

Can you drink horse milk? It would save a small fortune on the milk&more round.

Also, do you think cravendale would be interested?

It is fine to drink horse milk in fact you can ferment it and make alcohol with it, but I would say you have had to much to drink already!!!!!!!!!!!

Why are you wasting your time typing on the forum? I'd be on the phone to them straight away.

Shall I freeze a sample ready to send??

Ooohhhh!!!!! What about Yeo Valley??? I'm on the blower... let you know how I get on. Soooo exciting!!! :) :D

If you're going to freeze a sample then make it into ice cream. Are you near any tourist attractions? I'm sure loads of people will buy ice cream on father's day if the sun is shining.

Ok yes, great idea - lucky you replied VS -I was on hold at Cravendale to the music of "the Magic Roundabout" and it was making me quite dizzy.

I'm thinking I should go for the exclusive VPL market - don't want commoners drinking our precious horse milk. It's not just for anyone you know.

you would save money on sugar for your products, horse milk is rather sweet......

I knew it... you ARE a genius - what are you doing racing my dear???? LOL:D

I gave it a go in my coffee and didn't need my usual plink of sweet&lo!!!!

Can you imagine the uptake???

And the booze!!!! Quick think of a name!!!!!

WHAT?!?!?! are you serious??? where do they do this and who buys it? :S:S

There used to be a shop up in Covent Garden for it. They called it Baby GaGa and you could have sauce flavours of either Bongella (sp?!) or Calpol. Lady GaGa then tried to sue them because of the name and then I think they had to close because people thought it was a Health&Safety risk? xx

Thats absolutely BONKERS!!!!! i can see the health and safety risk though, I wouldn't want to be feeding my baby someone elses breast milk who i didn't know, they could have had HIV or anything!!!

Do you think they milked by hand or machine? LOL ;):D:D

warmblood wine
brumby beer
prewalski port
connemara champagne
shire sherry........

you want more?

I can't believe it. That genius thing I said.... I take it back. That is rubbish.

I was thinking more...

Red Rum.

Baby GaGa... hahahahaha!!!!! That is hilarious. Only in Covent Garden. Whatever next??

Actually here in Belgium, you can buy mare's milk, and loads of stuff made from it like icecream, soap etc. It's supposed to be very good for people with excema, and is actually much closer to human milk than cow's milk so good for people with allergies.
http://www.fermedelacomogne.be/ thsi is the farm where they milk the mares (press appropriate button for English version).
Enjoy! Btw I have never tried it myself!:)
