pick up a nice, fun horse for under £1000? I may be looking to buy in the next month or so but only have a small budget. It doesn't have to be amazingly schooled just able to hack out preferably alone or in company, pop a few jumps and just be a bit of fun.

Have a look on Horsemart under £1k - you may be lucky and find a bargain or try project horses

A girl has just picked up an ex racer for £850 delivered who is an absolute sweetheart - hacks out alone and is schooling on nicely - might be worth a look

yes, im sure you could find something for that

i like a bargain myself, and i would have no problem getting something for that price

in fact my absolutely stunning anglo arab mare cost £400, but i had to break her in myself, had a lot of interest in her since i pimped her up

You could probably get a TB for less then £1000, there seems to be a lot around at the moment!

I have one on loan at the moment that is for sale at £1200 ono so they are out there.

tbs seem to be all over for not much, ive been offered a nice, well bred 6yr old mare, schooled by owner for dressage, had last year and a half off to have a baby, if i want her i can have her for nothing

i just have to decide if i want another ginger mare around the place
