Is it snowing where you are?

West Sussex near Arundel, been snowing since 7am ish, its laying now roads are pretty bad already and its forecast to carry on most of today.....

Just a few inches here in Suffolk, but sky ready to dump loads more. This area is known as The Sandlings and drains very well. The first 3:day event of the season is held at nearby Poplar Park, as the ground is always suitable for xc etc in early March. Right now, even the usual soft sand is rock hard. There is tree logging going on in the surrounding forests, and the ruts caused by the tractors and trailers are horrendous, so easy to go over on your ankles...nevertheless, it does make everywhere look so beautiful.

North Cotswolds, Gloucestershire - been snowing since 8pm last night, loads of snow and big huge drifts because its also blowing a hooley ;) Still snowing, supposed to stop at 2pm

I've made it to the yard and back, very slowly, but have to say the South Gloucestershire Council gritters have done an amazing job round here and there was a plough out too on the main road at the end of my road. That main road is crawling though as it heads towards Bristol. Also now more traffic has got moving it gets the grit doing its job properly - the real problems will be when it freezes tonight though I guess :(.

Started on Leith Hill (Dorking) at precisely 8:30. Managed a quick coffee at a neighbour on the hill before coming home. Now quite heavy in Brockham, but ponies have enough hay for a week. Am actually getting concerned about how fat they look!!

Think the kitty has gone back to bed, too. Have set a litter up in the conservatory, as I'm going soft. :D

3" where I am in Gloucestershire, still coming down and not forecast to stop still around 4pm. Walked the mile to the yard to see to horses. Village where I live is blocked off as we never see a snow plough or gritting lorry, even the 4x4's are having problems!

Snowing lots here in Navestock, Essex and its really fine very icy snow-settling fast :) looking forward to sledging but supposed to be moving horses tomorrow to new yard-that might not happen!

Been very lightly snowing here in north leicestershire and has just got heavier and very very windy. We still have snow from monday on the ground so it will settle fast.
It is absolutely freeeeeeezing!

blimey didn't realise you were in Bath, i'm only about half hour away! And yup we got stupid snow, i hate snow:mad:

according to forecast we got it all day grrrrrr:mad:

Horse is kept just over the hill from Bath at the foot of Lansdown - up there at 6.30 before it got too bad. I live on a hill outskirts of Bristol - just about got back up in my 4x4 at 8.15 - haven't seen anyone else drive up since.

I'm in suffolk and last night we were measuring the snow in 2hours we had 4inches, still snowing now, contimplating driving to see my girlie though back roads all the way and can be very notorious. Would love for her to have 5mins in the snow tough as she can be flighty the yard understandly won't take her out unless I'm there when its iced

Nothing in SE kent yet , the sky is looking more grey so ready as we can be. Daughter is supposed to be riding in the final winter MGA championships at Bodiam tomorrow but not looking likely.

Well I can safely say it is snowing tons here now. Ponies out and have just had an interesting drive home with a white van right on my tail going up hill. What did he think he was going to do...push me up it when I was sliding....Idiot!!! Anyway, already contemplating which is the best route to get back up there later :rolleyes:

Had about two inches in Chester, and still falling steadily.

Our lad at 8.30 this morning, and I am feeling guilty, though he couldn't care less living out.

3/4 inches between Southampton and Winchester (which is all we were meant to get in total!)

Non 4x4s abandoned everywhere as they just cannot get up slopes :(
