Is it the Subject Title or the Posters Name that gets the most replies

As per the title really - is it that people only reply to certain people, do you look at all posts that certain popular people post, or do you get lured in by the subject title ???

I think it is a bit of both. For me, i personally read and join in on a thread due to content not the person primarily.
More often though i believe it is who posts the thread. some people get a massive amount of replies, while some of us, like moi does not get that many, ho hum, i will get by

For me it is the subject title. However, if I see a post from a person who I think has been unjustifiably nasty or spiteful in their previous posts I don't comment and often don't look at their posts.

As a bit of a lurker who doesn't do a lot of posting, I'd say it was most definitely the name of the poster. Lots of responses to certain people and very few to others, and not always reflective of how interesting the post is imo - still that's the way of the world!

Me too, i've had a few really helpful replies but mostly hardly any, maybe my posts are just not interesting lol! I also find often that if i respond to someone elses post i dont always get a response back. To answer the question, its the subject title for me.

I only re0ply if the post content is interesting, and I feel I have something to add. Badly worded posts tend to annoy me and I do tend to expect some posters to post more interesting stuff than others. I also expect better quality information from some posters than others.

Similarly when I post I can pretty much guarantee who will reply to it, depending on which section of the forum it is in
