...than the way it feels when your dog greets you having not seen you for ages?
I had my puppy for the first three weeks to get him used to the house and the cats and the horses. For the last couple of weeks he has been going to stay with my OH from Monday to Friday (he works away and can take the dog in to work with him, so its his dog really). But Im giddily looking forwards to seeing puppy tonight (well both of them!) as that greeting when he comes into the house and sees me is just amazing. It makes even this gloomy rainy miserable evening seem sunny! (Will see if Im still saying that when Im standing in the pouring rain waiting for him to pee!). The cats are less excited about his return, he likes to curl up on their beds, or as close to them as possible if they are already on their beds!
