Is there a difference between cat and dog tinned meat?

As title really. I was just thinking about this the other night as I opened seperate tins of cat and dog food. Is there any reason you shouldn't feed one to the other?

Cat food contains taurine which they need for their eye sight at night. So you can feed cat food to a dog but not dog food to a cat. Hope this helps
