Is This Horse Fat or Pregnant?

From the first pic, i would have said maybe, but in the others she just looks fat (but as others have said, I really don't know much!). Does she have a crest and a channel over her bum , or is the weight just centred around her midsection?

I think I would be on to the vets in the morning if you worried. Get them to check her out and the take it from there. Good luck. Do let us know what they say please either way.

I agree that a photo from behind would be much more useful. I am also going against the grain and saying NO.

Only way for sure is to get her vet-checked. However (not that I'm in any way experienced) I understand pregnancies can go "hidden" not infrequently. Two stories come to mind. 1) a very young, now very famous and successful international SJ, abandonning his pony outside the kitchen in frustration because it wouldn't jump, only to return to mum and foal a short while later!
2) last year at local show seeing very worried rider bring her horse out of a Newcomers class after an "iffy" round, then consulting show vet, who advised "about two weeks to go!" Mare had been competing all spring! Good luck, and keep us posted!

I'd say get her checked - the vet will be able to feel if she is pretty quickly.

Mum usually regulates the size of the foal in the womb - could be a really lovely cross though.

Do keep us informed.
