In my yard, ready to be taken up to the tip/recycling plant/whatever you call them these days, I have a pile of old saddle cloths and rugs
None of them are really damaged, but most of them are pretty old and manky - the rugs have got rusty buckles and are pretty stinky, and the saddlecloths - all accumulated over many years - are faded and very un-smart
When we moved house before, we donated all our pony rugs to a local riding school, but this stuff is in generally worse condition; I cant envisage even a riding school being overly chuffed with it. Am I doing the right thing in chucking it all out?! It just seems......sad.....
