Ok I can’t upload the picture...
Advice please!! I fell in love this morning - absolutely felt safe but nice and forward well schooled. I hacked her alone and didn’t want to get off - I loved her.
sent this to the girls from the yard and one said I look like a teenager outgrowing my first pony. I’m ready to put a deposit down and book a vetting, but those comments have thrown me. What do you think?

I know this is your first horse and that the maraket appears to be crazy but ... you should not need to put a deposit down to hold a horse for vetting. I never have either on buying or asked for one if I have been selling. Remember the old saying 'if in doubt do without'. The right horse will come along. Try to view/try everything twice. If it sells meanwhile it is fate. I suspect the market will change radically in the next few weeks as winter approaches and the unemployment rate rises and furlough ends.

If you feel happy on her and you are not too heavy, it really doesn’t matter what other people think!Advice please!! I fell in love this morning - absolutely felt safe but nice and forward well schooled. I hacked her alone and didn’t want to get off - I loved her.

100% agree with that. Do not fall in love with any horse until your friend/instructor and the vet tell you you may.How exciting ( although also be prepared for buying your first horse to actually be quite stressful ?, especially when you bring it home and your are suddenly responsible for him or her ?)
I always think its good to have an experienced friend or instructor to help and advise although ultimately it's your horse so your decision, also don't underestimate your gut instinct.
Wishing you years of fun and love with your new horse!
I didn’t. I had some doubts about stability - I think I knew she was too fine for me and I didn’t want it said. Went and tried three today - 2 cobs and a Welsh D, all 15.1, and I’m buying the welsh! felt much more stable on the slightly chunkier horses!
