This afternoon felt distinctly 'spring' like in my part of the world!
The sun shone as I rode and gave off some proper warmth.....
I saw bulbs coming through as I passed people's gardens.....
There are buds on the trees.....
The fields suddenly looked 'not so bad' in the sunlight....
My horses were still happily grazing at coming in time, rather than hanging around the gate....
It didn't get fully dark until 5pm.....
The birds are definitely coming back to life too, and can hear far more birdsong in the morning and the occasional coo coo of the woodpigeons. I know it will be another couple of months until we can say good bye to the mud, but things are definitely moving in the right direction!
