It's raining!!!!

Please send some to me! I'm attempting revision, but it's a bit more like me slow roasting in my room. The address is....
 
Wales aways seemed to be one or the other when I was there, bog or dust bowl;)

I wish it would rain here, the humidity is killing, Thank God for the a/c indoors.

We had severe storm and tornado warnings last night, just storms now, I can see the lightning and the rain clouds but they just keep skirting round my place.
 
we have rain to, i was just about to go for a hack, and it started pouring down, good thing taz had already been ridden this morning so i didnt have to ride in the rain lol, yes i am one of these types of owners who rides twice a day lol
 
send some down our way please, our fields are like dust too. I poo picked the field this afternoon and the poo was so dry it was like paper mache! a whole wheelbarrow weighed virtually nothing it was so dry. We have hardly any grass and the tracks are like concrete :rolleyes:
 
I need rain too....none here in hertfordshire, my horse has just had treatment for arthritis of the coffin joint and needs to be on a soft surface and its like concrete in his restricted size field, and no grass left!!
 
It was raining here for a while :D I knew it would! xD (I seem to be getting quite good at predicting it while the sun is still shining... ha!) Hope we get some more tomorrow :)
 
Still raining! And very very glad to see it - my house is on a private water supply and I'm not sure how much longer it would have kept going. The reasonable-sized stream that runs alongside my house has almost stopped running.
 
A few drops at tea time and then...nothing. Clear blue sky at present.

Just one days worth would do us a treat...just not at the weekend :D
 
Raining here too at last. Same as everyone else, fields desperate for water and what was mud is dust. Schools are like sand dunes so its very welcome. Love the smell when its rained of freshness and damp tarmac.

same here in Wales- everyone up this valley either have wells or bores- hills are like the sahara!!
 
Its been raining here since 5pm! The local farmers have been frantically trying to get their haylage in all afternoon. For once our YO was ahead of the game and got his in on saturday :) Fingers crossed for another dry spell later in July so he can get the hay in.
 
my neighbour has only just cut there hay which was a bad idea as were due rain, its was turned for the first day today so a couple more days to go! everyone else has done theres! we got a total of 4 spots! we really need some though, i have got some massive cracks in my field!!
 
Its raining here..:D..my fields are desperate for it!!hopefully now the grass will grow and everything will stop being so damn dusty...also it keeps coming as little showers as I think if it had been a downpour it would have just ran away!!
 
I wish it would rain further south. The electric fence is due to be moved but I'm not sure how to get the posts into concrete hard ground.
