It started barely drizzling here (W. Yorks) about 7 pm and now it's raining really quite hard,making puddles on the yard

Lots of rain in cornwall today/tonight. Got soaked doing the horses and actually enjoyed it!

Windy and wet in west Cornwall. Had to find a coat and dry off a cold and disgruntled horse. All a bit shocking!

We had an absolute downpour yesterday, rain pouring off the roof like a waterfall and hailstones the size of cherries
I wish I had emptied my muck trailer before that happened - now it's sodden and heavy - but the forecast was for light rain

I'm very pleased to announce that we've had the mother of all thunder and lightning as well as torrential rain for the last hour and a half, am beyond excited ?

Rain overnight in our part of mid wales, forecasted more for sat/sun/mon so keeping everything crossed we get that too. Garden lawn already started to green up, but think it will take a lot longer in the fields.

Here's hoping for a wet autumn as all our winter grazing has pretty much burnt off, and the winter paddock has had nothing graze it since March!!!!

Horses came off my winter field in march. Hardly any grass growth since - I could cry when I walk round it. Weeds are taking over.

Well first time in 5 months it tipped it down from 5am to 1pm about, I got soaked and the horses have hoolied around as loads skid marks and foot prints.

North Yorkshire near Settle. It's rained most days since Yorkshire Water announced hose pipe ban, to come in tomorrow, about 10 days ago.

I drove from Surrey to Newark today (Thurs) and it pee'd down the whole way, think it followed me up the A1, Very welcome, up until then every "90% forecast" has passed us by bar a few showers.
