Love the HHO correspondents!
Wow at Ros and Tom Jackson’s massive PBs. Thought Dubs test was so beautiful 😍 London looked a bit tense but Laura delivered anyway, amazing!

I’ve just seen that they’ve removed the loop from fence 11-17 due to the weather/ ground conditions. (Was on a french Eventing Facebook page)

Laura said on her Facebook page that London has a serious fear of umbrellas, so it was the worst possible weather for them!

HOLD YOUR HORSES
✋

We have a NEW CROSS COUNTRY start time!
⏰

Following the weather conditions and rainfall during the night, the start of competition has been delayed by 2 hours in order to prepare the course and provide consistent conditions for all riders and horses. The start of competition is now scheduled for 14:00 CET.
In addition, five obstacles, numbers 12-16 (6 jumping efforts) have also been removed from the course.
The countdown is on, we'll see you at 14:00
😉

8pm my time 😂 (I see someone already answered otherwise would have worked it out)
Gosh the ground must be bad to have to remove 6 fences! Is that going to make the XC still a test?
Yes I wondered this too.. or is it just gonna be a dressage competition..?

I thought that the start time always was 2pm local time? Or at least it was when I checked it yesterday after the dressage had finished.

Getting all prepped here for a 1pm BST start.

Hoping that the ground holds up and that all horses and riders are safe and well at the end of the day.

It was originally 12pm local time (11am our time) - still good use of time getting the snacks in!

Is the XC on the Fei youtube channel or only on clip my horse?
I don't know about Youtube but they are livestreaming on the FEI Eventing FB page (do make sure you find the official page as there are lots of scammers about - the official livestream is free so if you get asked for money it will be a scam).

I'm tentatively waiting but not convinced given they had the dressage as 'forthcoming events' on fb and the xc is not on there... It's not listed on their upcoming YouTube streams either.

(so have done the CMH trial just in case)

I'd planned my morning, did all my food shopping to be back in time for a 11am start... Sod's Law, could have stayed in bed 😂ed to get everything done so I could have watched the XC
Me too. I've hassled my husband all morning because I wanted us to get everything done before it started without telling him thats' what I was doing.😁

Spent a hour trying to mirror screen from my laptop but it turns out the £60 cable I bought from apple doesn’t work. 🙄😏. Am watching on laptop. Annoying.

Is it not going to be on the Facebook page? I really can’t afford to join CMH

Doesn't look like it - it's not on their scheduled events list

Is CMH usually decent quality? I've just started the feed and it keeps cutting out.

Mine's ok (so far)

If you've got a smart tv, download the CMH app

Sadly neither of my tv’s are smart. And since they still work perfectly well my husband is refusing to contemplate a smart telly!!

Bloody annoying as I lost the original cable which I know worked so replaced it with this from apple and it won’t work. Grrrrr 😡😡
