About my mares breeding... her passport says she is TB x ISH but she is clearly out of a rodeo bull crossed with satan.:mad::mad:

Following on from another post the other day I too would like to offer her free to a good home... actually doesnt even have to be good. PM if you would like my yard address and you can collect her yourself (she'll be the one banging down the door when you arrive). *If sedated you might well be able to sell her on to a non suspecting novice as she is pretty, this is unfortunately her only redeeming quality at present.

I'll trade! Asbo mare who is normally good but grumpy spent today and yesterday walking everywhere on two legs. Was most unimpressed. Her redeeming quality was that her sister was lovely and so I could just ignore her!

I too have one ofthese....i likened her to a ping ping ball crossed with a goat, she waited until.my hacking buddy said what a good horse, then let loose hell on hooves! Constant bucking all the way home makes my crazy baby horse look saint like!!

My 6 y/old had the devil in him today too - arched neck, prancing, snorting, shying, plunging, launching himself sideways and generally being a knobber all the way out  My 3 y/old, however, yesterday took on part of the same route without a single lapse of common sense. Sometimes I wonder why I bother! I feel your pain!

Awww, you love her to bits really!

Please dont jump to irrational conclusions :p gone are the pretty soft eyes and butter wouldn't melt expression in favour of "oh you're on the floor, yes I guess this time I did intend for that to happen". Don't know what has gotten into her

LOL as I thought that I was the only one with a looney mare and I've had her since she was born coming up 8 years come March, yes I would love to give her away, but I think they'd post her back with a large amount of stamps, next day.:D:D:D

I aware something is going on with all these mares at the moment. My normally laid back mare decided to go rodeo in the stable with me in it!! Was not happy as a limped around the yard with a dead leg :(

I told her she'd end up in a lasagne if she didn't get her act together... seemed to do the trick the majority of the week until today we were having a lesson at another yard and she saw.... wait for it.... a... DOG...! Yes an actual dog, I mean its not like there aren't at least 10 at our yard, of various sizes, but no this dog was terrifying and resulted in us taking out a jump by storming backwards into it.

I am taking her hunting tomorrow for the first time (since she came from Ireland anyway) and have no idea how she will react to the hounds, or if she might take offence to a suspicious looking twig/blade of grass etc... or if we'll rodeo the whole way.

If you never hear from me again you know why!

Good luck with the hunting! Hold on and kick hard :D if you still don't want her after I can swap you for a barely 3 legged loon who feels that either box bouncing in the stable or hedge hopping in the field are appropriate forms of behaviour for a lame and footsore horse. The bute is clearly working!
