....by an internet based equestrian shop in Aberdeen. Beware all horsey friends they will take your money and not supply the goods.

I paid by PayPal and raised a dispute. PayPal found in my favour and ordered a refund but they cleared the funds out of their PayPal account so PayPal were unable to complete the refund. Unfortunately I paid by a debit card rather than a credit card so cannot charge back via a credit card company.

I will not leave it at this but if anyone is considering ordering anything from an internet tack store in this area you may like to PM me to check it isn't the same one before you get ripped off too!

Thieving b*******s.

Check on Martin Lewis's money expert website, he was on breakfast tv the other day saying how you are covered with different types of card and im sure there was am instance which debit cards are covered, depending on the amount.

I have a Visa debit card with the Co-Operative and you are covered provided you report it within a certain time frame. Can't remember how long it was though. Good luck, and I hope you get your money back.

I can guess who. I tried to buy something many moons ago, tookmmonew item not in stock with no delivery date. Raised dispute and got my money back but was subsequently barred from trying to but from them again

I found paypal didn't protect my losses either when goods I ordered from another site failed to arrive. The sellers cleared out their account before I got my money back.

That's awful - but at least you got your money back. I have my own business with a website that ranks very well for my chosen search terms I've just written a blog post naming and shaming them and am about to start ranking that page too.

That's exactly what's happened with my case but I don't think that PayPal can just wash their hands of it like this - by allowing them to take payments via PayPal they are enabling them to do stuff like this and adding credibility aren't they? I'm not going to let it go - can't afford to for one thing but very angry for another.

Not sure why the seller clearing their account out ha any effect on the refund. PayPal will still take the funds putting the seller into a negative balance. Has the seller closed their account? I'd be ringing PayPal.
