MY ISH's sire is Dock Leaf (racing - not sure which type) and on Dam's side grand sires Dutch Gold - great grand sire Dutch Courage. He's gone more for his sire's style than grand sire on dam side unfortunately! Given that he's supposed to be a dressage horse and not his dream of hugely high head carriage race horse grrr. New baby is grand sire olympic ferro - thankfully he really does take after sire and grand sire for dressage - an amazing trot, for me anyway :)

My girl has War Admiral and ManOWar as well, she also has all three of the founding stallions on her sires side.
On her dams side she is related to Northern Dancer, Sicambre, Hawaii and Soviet Star.

My TB is by Flemensfirth, who's in the current top ten of jump sires. My boy looks like some of his half-brothers, Tidal Bay, Imperial Commander and Pandorama although I can't imagine him ever being interested in racing, he's far too laid back!

Flemensfirth's are funny - they are either racehorses or they aren't. No middle ground lol!

I bought my TB mare from auction just a few months ago. In foal and with foal at foot. :(
Looked up her pedigree and she has Nijinsky on sire's side and Storm Bird on Dam's with Man o' War and Northern Dancer among her ancestors.
She never won a race and has bred a foal for the past 6 years. She's only 10.
She'll have a well deserved rest from breeding after the next one. She'd probably have gone to meat man if I hadn't bought her. She was skin and bone, and lame as well. Costing me a fortune! :D
