Talking to a friend, I was sitting on the sofa, legs crossed (as you do). Stood up, and my foot was totally dead, when I stood on it it collapsed like a fish, and I landed in friend's lap.
Within seconds it was swollen like a tennis ball. I can move it, and can weight bare on it, so it's not broken "phew". This morning, above and below the swelling it's kind of "tugging" and hard to lift up and down (torn ligaments I guess).
The upshot is, it's agony, and that hubs will have to take me to and from the boy. And hubs really does not like "hanging around" at the yard. So that means quick visits until this damned thing heals. Out goes his magnet therapy - gonna use them myself anyway. Long grooming sessions, walks out in the country, all the stuff I adore.
Any experiences of sprained ankles, and I know it's how longs a piece of string, but how long did it take to go down/be able to drive, etc.
Chocolate cupcakes and frothy cappacinos all round
