I've written this for my pony about to be PTS .. What do you think?

My aged pony is going to the great stable in the sky on 31st August. To remember her I was going to have something laser etched into a glss plaque.
I wrote this earlier and wondered if you thought it sounded befitting of her memory ..

You didn’t give up on yourself,
You didn’t give up on me.
There were times when we wanted to give up.
We never did.
Way too proud.
Way too stubborn.
I’m never going to forget the feisty, fiery pony that you were.
Never will I look back at our time together and feel sad.
You were sent to teach me.
You were sent to help me.
Honey, you taught me well.
Honey, you helped me.
Job done!

HoneyPony is indeed a very much loved pony and I want to give her a dignified end.
To be honest, I had to write what I needed to write to her before she went as I jusy know I won't be able to do it once she's gone ... if that makes sense? xxx
