Has anyone had any good or bad experience's with any of these bridles? I've been trying to research and decide which one to go for but both get good reviews. Decisions?

I'd def go with the IR. Better leather and shaping. A really lovely bridle. If you need one with different sizing then Jefferies can make them up with different sized parts for you too - perfect!

The Jefferies one is lovely, have a look on preloved if looking for a bargain, I saw there are a couple of brand new ones at a reduced price :-)

I had an elevator for my old boy, beautiful bridle, really soft leather and looked as new as the day I'd bought it after 3yrs of daily use. The reins that come with the bridle were the only ones I'd ever managed to find thin enough yet still with grip that fitted my stubby fingers!!

The sizing did come up big, my boy only just fitted into stubben large bridle I had yet had ample if not a bit too much room in the elevator.

As for if the comfort aspect helped us, I'm not really sure it did to be honest but I think his issues with accepting a contact were far deeper seated than a bit of pinching from the bridle. Either way it was a beautiful bridle and looked very smart.

This experience is all based on a bridle bought back in 2003 so things may have changed since then...

I deliberated for ages and went with a Sabre Cordoba and I adore it. Gorgeous quality and superb customer service... they made me a bridle up virtually M2M as my mare is inbetween sizes.

I have a sabre cordoba too, that has worn brilliantly. I use it every day and it's really smart.
I also have an IR ( though mine came from Issy as Stroud Saddlery and is badged accordingly, she designed them so it's the same thing really) and I don't think it has worn as well as the sabre but the padding is so much softer. That doesn't help much does it?
