Derby House once again.
If you put the items (jodhpurs only in the pick25 offer) into the basket, then apply the PICK25 promo code...they come to £5 each :)

Have ordered some 24 inch ones...no idea how that translates to other sizes? Any help?

Also, I know they're getting a lot of stick...but at £5 a pair...it would be rude not to try ;)

Neither do I! I've heard they're size 6 (er, oops...diet time?), size 8, size 10... Surely 24" can't be all these sizes D: All the confusion.

Had a look on my jods and they say 38 which is size 12!! So weird, guess it depends on the brand?

I'm slobbing out in my 28" mountain horse breeches, and I need a belt to keep em up! I am a size 12 on a good day, 14 usually! Tack shop told me 28" was a size 10 - I wish!

Yeah :S
Oh well, I guess if they're too small...abit more incentive to stick at my diet? Haha.

(Also your horse in your sig is gorgeous. I love his face!)

Wish they all had a standard size x) And varying clothes shops too! Such a pain. I understand different styles fit abit different...but my gosh i've heard people having a fair few sizes in difference depending on where they shop.

Yeah :S

Hehe thanks :D So do I lol!

I agree, I always though 26 was a 10, but that's a massive leap up to 38 for a 12 lol! Unless they were lying in the shop to make me feel better :p

28" is a 12, so 30" is a 14, so your 24" is a 8, however it entirely depends on the brand as to whether you actually do get a 12 or a 14. Caldene are spot on for size, so are Sherwood and Lauria Garelli (I've actually measured the waist bands), but Derby house can be hit and miss as I've got a lovelly pair of denim ones that should be a 28, but are actually 26 3/4", however I ordered a pair of 30" ones and they were mahoosive!

Thanks for that :D

Damn you Derby House, stop tempting me like this!!!

Just had to place another order for 2 pairs of breeches, £5 each with that PICK25 code, shame I have to pay another fiver on top for postage but its worth a punt for those prices.

I have no clue on sizes on DH stuff, I'm a 10 or 26" usually, I have 2 pairs of their breeches in a 26 and they fit ok, but the next lot I ordered from them in 26 were tiny, I could barely get them done up so have plumped for the 28's this time and they'll probably be massive!

Just had a look on the Mountain Horse website. I think the confusion is arising because some people are quoting the UK inch sizes and some the european sizes. According to them UK26 is a Euro 38 which is a size 12 so:

8 = 22" = 34
10 = 24" = 36
12 = 26" = 38
14 = 28" = 40
16 = 30" = 42
18 = 32" = 44
20 = 34" = 46

Hope this helps a little bit! :-D

Seems like everyone has been told different re: sizings :D

I've always gone on:

UK
6 - 24
8 - 26
10 - 28
12 - 30
14 - 32
16 - 34

etc. I've always found it fairly accurate, too, both on jodhs and jeans.

What, so if you put in two pairs they're £5 each and then you just pay for postage? I put in two pairs of dakota breeches but it just came to £25 (does it have to be jodhpurs not breeches?), still good I am just not sure if I will like the fit of them... I think I will get rugs if I can find the right sizes as £12.50 for a rug is pretty darn good even if it takes months to get to me!

ETA I'm a 16 and find sizes can be quite different, I think it is supposed to be 34 but I have some 32, 34 that are too big and 36 just right, and have tried some 36 that were too small before! I find the waistband makes all the difference for me, if its stretchy then good, if it's not then I need bigger, which can be annoying as the legs etc fit fine!

Same I can only get them to come up as £25 for two pairs, can't find the £5 each ones? :(

I too can only find £12.50 with pick 25 code
As I've never tried them and have tons I will only buy if I can find em for £5 lol

I think the deal is two items for £25 so if you buy a rug for £20 it may then put then jods as £5 when you enter the code.

No longer working now and they're back to normal price within the deal (eg 2 for £25). Perhaps it was a coding/website mistake, haha, as it wasn't advertised.

Just bumping this to say that shock horror I got a dispatch notice for these yesterday, only took them 3 weeks. They did have to refund me for the other order I placed on the 2 for £25 mind you.

Has anyone else got there's? Fingers crossed that they fit after all this!

Mine came about a week ago. £5 each, 4 pairs :)

My other order of cheap stuff has also been dispatched, have to say I have had more good then bad experiences with them lately but then I never order anything I desperately need so am happy to wait for it to arrive.
