Has anyone heard of him and dellingure( sp). My boy was bred by him have found some awful things he was sold by a lady called Diane in Guildford any info really appreciated.
 
Yes that's where I found things out. My boy is about 1 yr old. We have had him for about 2 months and he has always had runny poo. Been to vets umteen times now I'm worried as quite a few that this Diane sold have had to be pts because of renal failure!!!:(.
 
Good lord what an awful breeder!

Serves as a reminder to some to never purchase a dog without health certs and a guarantee.

Anyway OP i would get a full blood panel run on your dog to check kidney function.

Not getting at you at all OP but for anyone else....

If buying a pedigree puppy DEMAND to see KC registration certificates if they say they are registered, DEMAND to see x-rays/health certs/results on watermarked/official documents if they say the dogs are health tested and DEMAND to see photos/footage/prizes or even demonstrations of the parents' abilities if they say they are show winners or working dogs or search dogs or security dogs - even a bitch with a litter should be able to demonstrate a bit of drive in any discipline.

But hey, with a reputable breeder, they should WANT to and be EAGER to show you and they should have no problem in doing so.
 
Truly shocking.

No offence to OP intended as you must be going through an awful time but it is incredible the number of people taken in by this shower of humanity.

I would never in a million years buy a puppy from a company for a start or without papers, health certificates etc. As CC says genuine breeders are falling over themselves to prove the quality of their pups.

It just shows how most of the public don't know what to expect when buying / choosing a puppy.
 
This guy changes his name and location very frequently,no health tests are done at all,I believe myself that the puppies on sale come in from Eire.Ashford Council nailed him for £14000 some years back,in the same issuie of the local paper he bought both middle pages all about how wonderful his dogs were etc etc.Very very crafty indeed. Should be called Teflon.
 
The fine was (I think ) on two counts;the main one was selling puppies that became ill..a lot died..he had Parvo at the time. Not sure if the other part was for not being licensed,after that he kept on the move .The last time we heard of him in this area he was selling puppies out of the vet`s surgery when it was`nt in use at weekends.One member on here so very nearly went down and bought one!He is just such a good salesman.Anyway ,he did a runner /flit and left owing money there.
At one time,when at Bilting ..the Vantoak phase..he was selling thirty puppies a week.Now I worked out that the council inspectors would need to see around 400 bitches to belt out that number every week.Pretty sure myself that these litters are from Eire or Wales,not homebred.He does`nt believe(:eek:) in hip scoring or eye testing,the vets have tried many many times to persuade him.
I think we are talking at least four/five years ago.
 
We were caught by this horrible man in 2010, well Diane, who is she, as I tracked her down, but she said she is nothing to do with him anymore, although initially when we bought our puppy, John was her dad!! They like their stories and like name changing, he needs to be stopped selling puppies!:mad:
 
Anyway he is out of our patch now,I believe he hopped off to France leaving others to run "the business" for him in the Guildford area.I have a sister in law daft enough to buy from him,the dog had hip displaysia as well as crap elbows.At only 18 months it was on pretty high dose pain killers
 
This post was a long while back but decided I'd still post, I have a vantoak Lab that I brought from Tudor House Gundogs as they were known at the time, I was a first time lab owner basically I didn't search the people I brought my lad off I just brought him and took the answers they gave me as truth. It seems I was a lucky one as aside from a few minor problems when I first brought him home he is fine, although is recovering from cancer, I brought him beginning of July 2005. He is now 9, an aside from his recent illness a happy healthy boy. One thing I will say is I didn't buy him to breed from so I wasn't worried about kc papers, I did check his parents were hip scored and eye tested but didn't actually obtain proof of these answers and he was advertised as a stocky traditional lab, this he is not he's tall broad chested with long legs. Anyone wanna speak to me about anything or who may have a pup from same litter I'd love to know how any of his siblings are my email is jmh210405@gmail.com
