As title really! Still in shock. The drivers are normally so good round here, but obviously this pr*ck thought he was something special!
We were out on our own and coming up to a junction opposite shops where we turn left to go home. i saw this pick up come zooming up and go past the road we were in. He then stopped sudddenly, slammed it into reverse and shot backward, no reverse lights either i might add!!! Luckily Josie and I both saw it coming so I quickly got her on to the curb, not quite in time enough for my poor knee which got a bit bashed, but hey atleast it wasn't Josie.
Bearing in mind this is the horse that wouldn't hack on it own, and neither would I, she would nap and spin and has only been working under saddle properly since baby D appeared for 2 months. She was better than I EVER could have hoped for. She stood quietly and clamly once we were on the curb for me to shout abuse at the w*nker and up turn my stick to whack it on his cab. Then calmly walked off. She is a star, my true horse of a lifetime.
He incidentaly told me to get my f*cking horse off the road. I told him in no uncertain terms if he had touched my horse he wouldn't have live to tell me where I should put my horse.
Wish I'd got his number but was so upset and wound up I only remebered when I got back to the yard.
What a day!!!
