Julip!

I always wanted a Julip model but my parents couldn't afford one 😧 I used to look longingly at the Robinsons catalogue when it came free with Pony magazine! But I will buy one for my daughter (so I can play with it obviously!) Lol

Am I the only one who hasn't go a clue what anyone is talking about? As much as love my horses, I had (have) no interest in horsey toys or ornaments. I had a couple of my little ponies but only because they were fashionable. I was too busy with my Lego.

No true horse lovely would own a 'My Little Pony' !!

I loved (and still love) MLPs :( I had absolutely all sorts, and have tormented my mum ever since she sold them at a car boot. The originals are worth quite a bit now! Never could quite get into the 'new' wave - they've lost all their charm!

I still have all my Julips - the old style rubbery ones (!) foals, donkeys, hounds, hay cart, trap, caravan, buckets, pichforks etc. The shop was in my local town, and if you had your own pony you could take a picture in and they would hand paint the correct breed model.
Family members found me very easy at Christmas/Birthdays!

Faracat, yep, you've convinced me.... I can see the quality of that resin and it is on my Christmas pressie list, well, it IS my list :) Has more of the look of my girl as she was quite fine boned and leggy.

Frankiecob, just love those models of yours, I can see how it can be fascinating to replicate peoples' horses and ponies, well done on 'producing' a champ!!!
