I wear a champion junior skull cap up to standard PAS015 is this likely to be a problem if I am competing and my hat needs to be tagged?

Thanks in advance 😊

As long as it's got the right standards and a kite mark it should be fine
I had kids hat's for yonks without a problem at affiliated competition

Can't see any reason why they wouldn't be accepted, as long as they meet the standard, if they didn't have the ponies on the inside they'd be the "grown-up" version!

If you can buy kids ones do! they cost less because the tax is less!

There is no difference what so ever in them other than size and the kids label. No one will even look twice at it

Fab, this is what i wanted to hear, i only replaced my hat in the summer, however, i have entered my first event and pretty sure they will be tagging hats, a fellow livery said that she wasn't allowed to compete in her junior hat years ago? so was a little concerned that this was going to be a very expensive first event

I have just received confirmation from British Eventing, that as long as hat meets with current standards, riding in a junior version is no different. :D
