Ha - I never read the long threads and totally missed this! Actually I always thought JM07 worked at a rescue place, but guess buying ponies is sometimes probably pretty close!

What's wrong with being a horse dealer anyway, get more lies from a private seller IMHO. One of our best horses came from a dealer.

I too am sorry you have had to post this, what you do is YOUR business not anyone elses. I have read many of your replies and posts and you come across with being both sane and sensible. You should not have to justify what you do to anyone, I too used to run a dealing yard nothing wrong in that. At least you care for yours properly and if they are PTS that too is taken care of in a decent manner.
No one has the right to criticise or bad mouth someone they dont even know!!!!

You can't please everyone and what you do is shocking to some people.

Most people understand, totally agree with your reasoning and think you do an important job. You don't need to convert the few others to your POV, let them think what they want while they close their eyes to what really happens to low value horses when they can't be useful.

FWIW, I think you always seem to care a lot for your ponies, there's nothing wrong with being realistic about how far you go towards saving everything at all costs.
