I'd never have a JR, I'm just not keen on them. My neighbour has 1 and he barks constantly if they go out and he also runs away a fair bit.

i found myself sneaking one in my house a few months ago when he was a puppy cos no1 wanted him... i realise why now haha... wouldnt swap him tho, hes a character. Have a Bedlington and a lab too, labs hav got to be the best!

Hi Rosie - another Bedlington owner!! I have 3, mum is 12 now and her 'babies' are 7 this year, they are gorgeous but so naughty! I like jack russels but I really really want a yorkshire terrier and a chinese crested!

Best little things ever, the light of my life. They don't yap or bite, they don't fight with other dogs, they come to call - always. They are little terroritsts with anything stuffed though!!!

I have a miniature schnauzer...best breed in the world, in my (admittedly biased) opinion!
I do see a lot of horsey people with JRs, but I think also labradors! Perhaps these are just popular dogs, regardless of whether the person is horsey or not!
