I would agree about Christine and Diana's books but really like Josephine's and learnt a lot from them.I definitely agree that the P-T books didn’t have as much depth as others.

Give "Darkling"a go, it's a lovely interesting book.I’m going to have to look up her other books. I adored, adored, adored the Flambards trilogy (and enjoyed the later fourth book the title of which I’ve forgotten). And have watched the series several times.
