Katie Price Rant re her law suit

If I had millions, then I would buy myself a £800,000 horse, and I'd pay top international riders for lessons.

I'd also have the top range in a lorry, red and black for me, the poshest yard EVER...and I would try to go as high as I could with my £800,000 horses. As I'd probably have 2 or three, maybe one for each disipline....

I don't care what KP does. Her involvment in the horseworld doesn't affect me, why would it? She is not hurting me at all, so she can carry on doing what she is doing and good luck to her....

If I met her and started chatting about horses, then I'd chat about horses, not interested in where her morals etc etc lay, thats her business, and what she allows to divulge to the world is also her business.

There are more important things to life than 'hating' someone you don't know. Hate is a strong word. Enjoy real life with your OWN horses and leave the celebrities where they are. It's their life-choice, just as the decisions you take are your life choices.
 
Well well, what a lot of jealous sourpusses have come out to play on this thread. Makes me laugh really to think how sad your lives must be to get yourselves wound up over someone you have never even met :p

So far I have seen jealousy, bitterness, bitchiness, unfounded accusations and assumptions. Did I miss anything?

Who needs soaps when you have Horse and Hound Online.

Personally I know people in person who have worse morals than this woman in the horsey world - I would rather know her than some of you lot anyday :D

Katie definitely did not have an affair with Andrew - it was all specualtion. The press constantly hound him and the poor guy can hardly breathe without them jumping down his neck. He is very much in love with his wife (who runs some of Katie's businesses) and adores his two children. Andrew is a family man and not someone who would cheat on his wife and children. The way he gets portrayed in the press is totally untrue and as everyone knows, you shouldn't believe everything you read in the papers.

Well said. I am having the be atch morning from hell in the office and turned to HHO for entertainment and diversion. Well I got that aplenty!

Who cares what she does? Quite honestly who are we to judge her and what she does with her cash? Who are we to judge her involvement with the horse world - does it really matter. The OP obviously has an issue with it, so what.

Why am I even bothering taking out my time posting this?

Leave her be. She enjoys horses, her horses always seem well cared for. Her private life is of no interest to me. If she has been raped etc then that is awful (been there myself) and I certainly wouldn't be saying it's lies with no proof.

People that rant about her seem awfully obsessed with her. It's very odd. If you don't like her, fair dos. But why waste your time writing about her? Surely time would be better spent doing something else. :)

Im no KP fan, she seems like someone i wouldnt get on with, but feck me if i had her money. I'd have the top spec yard, lorry and horses to go with it. would probably wipe my ass with versace and all that jazz fgs!

(and a shoot, grouse moor, massive house turned into a rescue centre for dogs and horses where they could live out their days happily... AND shedloads of staff so i could stay in bed all day if i wished)

Dont we all say if only we had the money ???? I know I would get the best already schooled horses to do what I wanted, get the best instructors etc so why shouldn't she.

Like above says jealously!!! and it seems the underlying reason is that she hasn't put the years of hard graft into her horse to get here. well lets be honest if we could do it her way it would be far far easier. Not that we don't enjoy doing it the hard way then we've earned it and that seems to be the problem here. Well personally I have spent a good few years trying to earn it but now if someone offered it me on a plate I would take it so why shouldn't she??????

If I had her money and could afford to keep it in a nice place with a top trainer, I would buy a super horse. Who wouldn't?!

I know she brings horse sports attention in the press, but what annoys me is that they rarely get the facts right so is that good? I remember reading in a paper that she was an up and coming polo star and the photo of her leading her horse stated she was returning from polo. I think 99% of us horsey people knew at the time she was training was DRESSAGE, confirmed by the fact the horse was wearing a dressage saddle.

It's the same with Zara Phillips. The main press only cares about horse events when Zara is competing...but that's a different argument. Dare I open up a new argument.....!?!?!?!
 
She kept some her horses at my previous yard and the pink horsebox, she kept herself to herself. Didn't see that much of her as she didn't come up that often.

I did wonder why she would lead the kids on the pony in the car park at the front of the yard but I think it was because the paps were at the front on the road and you know when the paps would be around as she would have full make up on.

Mashnut, I'm not sure which Derby House you shop in, but in the original one in Wrightington, they've finally got rid of all the KP stuff - thank goodness, it was horrendous, and to me dragged the quality of Derby House's name down. (but that's another topic)

I personally cant stand her and have never liked her, and wish she'd go and live on another continent

i think this thread proves that she at least gets people talking. I personally don't object to riding. Its her money she can do what she wants with it. I do however really hate her clothing line, drags the whole sport down.
 
I also cant belive this is still going on.

I think the word that should be used instead of hate is jealous, so she got to ride at HOYS and you did not, get over it, so she has a better horse, lorry, trainer or what ever it is you are jealous of so bloody what.

I would do the darn same if i had her money, the top horses, yard, lorry, house, and plenty of staff, anyone who says if they had that money that they would not do the same is a darn liar, and if you would do the same how can you condem KP for doing it.

Makes me laugh too - what a great role model she is, every girl should aspire to be her, not Katie Price who god forbid gets her boobs out and poses, brings out a equestrian clothing range (albeit not my taste), and shock horror actually dare to take up the offer of appearing at HOYS..
