Katie Price Rant re her law suit

There is a woman by me who rides with her daughter both decked out in the KP clothing range, thats not what bothers me, what bothers me is the fact that neither of the *****ers should be allowed within a ten mile radius of a road with their horses!!!

Role model shmole model. i could tell you stories that would curl your toes about some of the less repulsive celebrities.

though, pray tell why dating a footballer makes you a celeb.?.?.?

I also cant belive this is still going on.

I do wonder how anyone can 'hate' someone they dont even know, it amazes me that people will use up time in their life spent hating someone, my god i wish i had time to waste like that.

I think the word that should be used instead of hate is jealous, so she got to ride at HOYS and you did not, get over it, so she has a better horse, lorry, trainer or what ever it is you are jealous of so bloody what.

I would do the darn same if i had her money, the top horses, yard, lorry, house, and plenty of staff, anyone who says if they had that money that they would not do the same is a darn liar, and if you would do the same how can you condem KP for doing it.

Jealous! OMG how on earth could anyone be jealous of that - you might be my dear but personally I have standards I wish to keep and would certainly never lower myself to hers! She is trash, always was, and certainly always will be - you cannot buy class! However much she flaunts her nastyness across the press it will never impress me.

Re the KP range her kids pony had one of her rugs and to be honest it fitted him really well and never leaked and he was always toastie.. Cant really see my big grey pet in one though.. although he does have a rather fetching lilac summer rug.

each to their own shes not really hurting anyone - if she wants to enjoy horses then let her

hear hear who cares. cant stand people who judge/condemn those they do not know. it happens all the time and kp probably doesnt give a hoot what folk say.

also think that those with inclination to bad mouth kp will do same to others.
probably says more about their own character .

If I had millions, then I would buy myself a £800,000 horse, and I'd pay top international riders for lessons.

I'd also have the top range in a lorry, red and black for me, the poshest yard EVER...and I would try to go as high as I could with my £800,000 horses. As I'd probably have 2 or three, maybe one for each disipline....

I don't care what KP does. Her involvment in the horseworld doesn't affect me, why would it? She is not hurting me at all, so she can carry on doing what she is doing and good luck to her....

If I met her and started chatting about horses, then I'd chat about horses, not interested in where her morals etc etc lay, thats her business, and what she allows to divulge to the world is also her business.

There are more important things to life than 'hating' someone you don't know. Hate is a strong word. Enjoy real life with your OWN horses and leave the celebrities where they are. It's their life-choice, just as the decisions you take are your life choices.

couldnt agree more!!!! Shes a mother, works hard, is tacky and pink and not my cup of tea but, live and let live!! Who would get sooo wound up about someone they dont even know!!!!hahahaha how silly!!!!!! AND please ans AmYM question >which part of her horse welfare isnt covered????? Think you need to be careful what your writing tbh OP!!!!!

Not the KP debate again.
Who cares? Honestly, who actually gives a rats ass?
"The Horse World" get's next to no publicity, any publicity she can give tacky or not, is something. If people choose to skim and look at the sport as everyone looks like KP, they're probably close minded douche bags.
If some sane KP fan looks at her horse riding, and researches it, then they'll get a brief education and may become a rider.
Another commoner comes to the dark side!

If I had boobs. I'd jump at the chance of being a Glamour Model, good money (well. when you get "there") and it's a living.
But each to there own. I just don't think it's entertaining anymore pining about KP when her horses are well cared for and loved. If you have that much of a concern for her horses, call WHW or the RSPCA and report what you think looks wrong with them.

Sad, erm no, I am today full of frivolity

Strange, absolutely 100% all my friends will tell you so,

Little, yep guess so at 5'3", so thats not an insult either..

No, I am afraid that you have failed to insult me by speaking the absolute truth, or was it your opinion I should be interested in, as I put my opinion forward and it is for others if they wish to comment?

And thank you for saying that I am not old school, that has cheered my day up no end!

Clearly, you have never seen Toy Story. ;)

I know I've already said my bit well I have more :D

I don't know the woman, would not even recognise her on TV !!!

However if someone we knew on here (or personally) came and said

I suddenly have lots of money I don't really know that much about horses but dabbled a bit in the past. Now I have the money I want the best to go all the way to the top if possible. I want full livery too as I am not always around

How should I do go about it??

I know we would all say

First find someone who really knows about horses to help you buy the correct horse(s) pay as much as you can afford (its what we always say, you get what you pay for, school masters don't come cheap)

Make sure you find a really good yard where they will properly look after the horse when you are not there and train you and the horse properly

Make sure you buy the best horse box for the money you can afford, oh and if you like paint it your colours (mine is silver and burgundy but my choice)

If your horse is good enough and you get enough training you could win top shows wahoo

So what the hell as she done wrong?????? She hasn't bought a silly young TB and expected to keep it in the garden for god sake!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I haven't read all the replies...but I think it's a bit mean to tell her to leave the horse world. I am not a huge fan of hers, but she has loved horses since she was a little girl and now she has the money to have lovely horses, a nice yard etc, why shouldnt she enjoy them? I can't stand her riding clothes and pink lorries, but thats just the way she is and if there wasnt a market for it then they wouldnt continue to make the stuff-someone must be buying it!
Plenty of people without percieved 'class' ride and compete, i very much doubt many of us were to the manor born!! Yes she is tacky and OTT but i think it is harsh to suggest she doesnt have the right to be involved in horses or that she doesnt care about their welfare.

Can anyone remember Oliver Skeete? He wanted to represent Barbados in the Olympics in 2000. I remember watching a programme about him, and the attitude towards him from other competitors was rather 'cool'...and I distinctly remember the chef de' equipe of the time being asked what he thought of Oliver being in the team.....

The poor man struggled to remain PC and all he could come up with was '...if he was in the team, he would have to cut his hair....'..because Oliver had dreadlocks.

He's now moved onto other things because I believe he didn't gain the required points to get a place in the Olympics. But one thing I do remember, is that the man was pre-judged by his appearance, and he found it incredibly difficult to get on. The predjudice was incredible, google his name to find out more...

The point of this?

Well, maybe just to say that just because if someones appearance, do we have the right to come on here and use words such as 'hate' just because you don't like her line of clothes, or what she wears or what colour her horse lorry is...?

I enjoyed the programme about Oliver, hats off to the man, he worked damn hard to achieve his dream, and had a few minor roles on TV since then, and whatever he is doing now, I hope it works out for him. But I DO know I was rather shocked by the 'known' members of the top-end of the equestrian world in this countrys attitude towards him....

Edited to say - Just read that by all accounts he WAS supported by the top-level riders, that was hard to see on the TV, but I guess that the media for you! :D

I agree with every word there. The snobbishness in the horse world is incredible. If you are not one of US, whoever that might be, forget it.Katie Price may have her faults, don't we all, but she has made her money herself, not had it given to her and she has done it honestly.Good luck to her.

I've googled a bit more on Oliver, and found forums with him mentioned, the majority saying how bad a rider he was, and he played the race card to get on....blah blah blah...

The guy DID get to Grade A in the end, it's a place I would never get to, thats for sure!

Other stories I read are he got charged with stealing money from some stables or other, couldn't find any info on whether this was upheld or not....

The internet is a weird place, so much bias, hatred and yes...evil in some places.

Why can we not be happy for someone who wants to follow their dreams?

So what if he sold the car to buy a horse, followed by flogging the carpets etc etc...

By all accounts he now drives a lorry, again...not sure how true, BUT....at least the man did get a glimpse of a dream he wanted!

How many of us REALLY get that?

I wanted to be an actress when I was younger, I also used to sing semi-professionally. Didn't get far with the acting (did a few stage shows and a little bit of TV stuff) but was 'kindly told' I wouldn't get far because I had a birthmark on my face. Sure, can be removed, but even the heaviest of make-up couldn't diguise it...still noticable today.
I went through some painful plastic surgery, but theres a point you have to realise why God made you this way....

Soooo I followed my dream to a point by singing and performing on stage around the country, doing various gigs here there and every (and earned a fair bit too) before I decided I wanted a family. I've had a bit of a glimpse, and it was fine. :D

Sure, to go further would have been FANTASTIC, I wanted to be a hollywood star! I enjoyed the TV work so much, at first I was heart-broken, but accepted it, moved on, and carried on with the caberet stuff...

I've written a few songs, thought about sending them to a record company or two in the past but now I don't have the dream anymore. I'm older, and my dreams are to have a nice yard and nice house, mortgage free!

Isn't it funny how things change?

Good grief, and this is the most I've ever revealed about myself on a forum!
