As for clever business woman, WTF is clever about making people buy from your range before you deign to sign your autograph on a picture of yourself, that's not clever, that's just a bloody cheek IMO and shallow as anything given that many of her fans are kids.

The best news I've heard in ages is that she's planning to have another baby or six maybe even adopt one, highly commendable and she may even shut up about herself for a bit and give us some peace!
 
A great role model? Oh purlease. A person with obvious body dysmorphia who made her name by getting her surgically enhanced bazoomers out in national newspapers, behaving like a tart and then selling her story to the lowest common denominator "newspapers"?

It's not who I will be encouraging MY daughter to use as a role model.
 
lol well said...people who say she is a good business woman havent a clue...she has an excellent management & markerting team behind her they market the KP brand .

I dont know how any body can admire her all the comments she makes are nasty towards other people ie jade goody, posh becks, ect.. and the way she acts towards her husband is terrible, 3 year old kids with highlights and makeup on yuck.

She has made a fortune by flashing her bits in public..this country is crazy..but at least people in the usa are not intrested in all that and it doesnt look like she will get the break she wants in America.

She has been successful in what she has done, I admire her. Every avenue she has been down, I believe she has made a success from. Yes it may be clever marketing people but who cares, she has the money, she spends it and makes more.

And they are her bits to flash, enough people paid to look at them otherwise she wouldnt have made money from it.

Clearly there is a market for her enterprises since its flying off the shelves!

As for people not wanting her to be a role model for their kids, you know what, the biggest role model in your childs life should be YOU!

I like KP, I think what you see is what you get.

Yes she is outspoken, but why should she be something else on camera, that is who she is and she isnt bothered by it. There is clear interest in her for who she is, and if people dont like it, dont watch it, dont buy it.

I remember once watching her and she was talking about people say she is stupid and thick, but she has the last laugh because she's making money from it.

I tell you now, if I could make money from flashing my bits or being snapped by the camera, filmed talking about my opinions then too right I would so I could live the life of luxury.

As for the way she speaks to her husband, clearly it cant be that bad since he is still with her, and he is self sufficiant enough to leave if he was unhappy.

EVERYONE buys the best horse and training they can get-that might be the local AI or a top class name, a £500 project horse or a made superstar in waiting but most people dont run around shouting they are team material afer one show.
IF she makes it I will be happy for her as I am anyone who manages to get to the top.It's bloody hard whatever your background and we dont praise our sports stars enough for the work and dedication put in.

I dont give a shite if she has had every inch of her body remade,her cash and her choice.I dont care what she did in the past(again her choice) but ANYONE whatever line of work they are in with an attitude like hers would pi55 me right off.
Watched back end of her last show and even her husband was shouting that she was "too up her own arse" and in every interview she comes across as very selfish.

Oh (sorry,cant remember who asked) she says in an interview in a horse mag(Your horse maybe? Flicked through a few today) that she does want to go to the Olympics but thinks 2012 may be unrealaistic and she is thinking of selling the horse she did the HOYS demo on because she wants something that can take her further.
If it was me,I would want to get one good horse goning well for me before moving onto the next but again,the horses are not going to suffer so "meh" sums up my feelings on that one well

well i can assure you as someone who is currently suffering from body dysmorphia and has been for over a year.
1 your not in a position to presume she has such an illness.

2 so what if she did is it changing,affecting your life in anyway,shape or form?

You cant give an opinion that she has a condition such as BD when you dont even know her.
My sister and 6 of my friends have all had boob jobs and are all glamour models i can assure you not a single one of them has BD.

Probably not but as a person who's now lost two colleagues with breast cancer and had a lump removed myself am just eternally grateful to have a healthy pair, for the time being at least. Nose jobs and Botox are one thing but why anyone would want to have a foreign body inserted surgically and then live with it is beyond me, still each to their own......
 
Jeez, it really is true that the Brits are never happy. She has not killed anyone nor has she broken any legal or moral wars. She is a good business lady because she has made money and at the end of the day the bank balance speaks.

In America we love for people to have success and make the most of what they have into something big and beautiful but it seems over here a lot of you are unable to view the bigger picture and allow your jealousy to do most of the talking.

It is really very sad!
 
i think people need to cut KP some slack! i think she's great!!

she may not be everyones cup of tea - but shes bought some much needed publicity what could (if we're not carefull) become a dying elitist sport!!!
sure she likes her bling and big boobs but thats what made her KP in the first place - thats not going to change now!!!

attacks like that are unjust!!! unless she came up to you and beat you with her silicone babies and her bling - i think that was a little below the belt in my personal opinion!!!

i have two enormous lumps of silicone in my breasts. 650cc in each one. i love them. i do not suffer from body dysmorphywotsit, i am not at increased risk of suffering from breast cancer, my two children were breast fed, the one on the way will also be breast fed, they do not hurt anyone... surely people can't judge people based on their decision to have cosmetic surgery. everyone is entitled to do what they want with their lives.

So, she's got lots of money that she's made taking her top off... so what? Has everyone in the horsey world made their money in a moral fashion? I doubt it VERY much. The world of horses is full of dodgy people, and attracts people with lots of money... i'm sure many have made their money immorally.
Ok, so her taste isn't quite the same as everyone elses, and she apparently puts highlights in her kid's hair... oh well. I work in the world of Child Protection... there are many worse things she could do!

People seem to like having a hate figure, and fair enough... but there's no need for so many sweeping generalisations!

Just thinking...................even if she bought the most expensive horse in the world - it doesnt mean she can ride it. But she does try! She rides some horses that I probably couldnt ride, but so what. I know a few spoilt brat kids around here that have a number of ponies, and they got them cos they are expensive and pretty, but they cant ride them, nor do they try, at least she does try and she doesn't just leave the horses sitting in a stable or field looking pretty. I would think that - if her horse was kept at a place where she is required to muck out, she probably would as her personal trainer would probably point out the benefits it would have for her toning up her arms and back etc. But she can afford to keep it somewhere where she doesnt muck out. Like a lot of NORMAL people, she may keep them on full livery - why do we care? I used to work somewhere as a stable hand/groom, mucking out this womans horses - not because she didnt want to, but because for running her business she just didnt have the time to muck out, ride, sort out young stock and the estate every single day. Does that mean that she shouldn't have been competing GP as she didnt muck out so didn't put the work in?

Well, friends, some do marketing + can't ride. Hasn't Madonna fallen off again, from another unsuitable horse? Any details of dealer, hoss, trainer? Doubt it.

Some didn't do marketing, yet were very well respected, and could ride. I know where my heart lies, only hope friends with brains are with me, BS x
 
Personally i think KP is quite good for the sport, tbh nobody, unless they rode, wanted to know much about dressage and many just didn't know what it was, but it is more in the publc eye now because of her.
And she hasn't payed her way to the top,she isn't at the top of the sport and if she does get there then she has worked for it, she has just had a massive head start and oppurtunities that most people won't get, she is very lucky, but if you had the money she does wouldn't you?!
But tbh i don't really care, everyone has there own opinions on her.

It is a permanent source of bewilderment to me that we are so resentful of any success in the UK, from a neighbour who buys a new car to Tesco making £3bn profit. We seem to derive more pleasure from envy, sneering and belittling someone's success than admiring an individual or a company who are sucessful. I am not a huge fan of KP but admire her cleverness, her business acumen and her constant reinventions of herself. A clever woman whether you like her or not.
 
Hi friends,

Maybe i need to explain myself further, in that my greatest pleasure today was hacking my old competition horse out early this morning, in May sunshine + wind (fun!!), followed by a lovely walk with a couple of friends, then a pint in our local + a good laugh.

Got a cancer scare to someone close to me at mo, but it ain't from silicone from my boobies!! Wish it was, it'd be easier to deal with if it was just me. All bests, BS x
