Racing Post front page today claims that KS was noticed to be lame behind when he was boxed up to go home last night.
He's been X-rayed and hasn't fractured anything, but they are talking about a 'fetlock strain', or best case scenario an abscess.
He was being seen by their own vet today, but I can't find any updates anywhere at the moment.

So typical for something like this to happen, especially after showing us yesterday (yet again) what a class horse he is.

Fingers crossed it's an abscess!

Vets looked this morning it is an infection. They got some pus out 48hrs rest and he will be fine.

What a shame, hope it is nothing more serious than an absess. He was extremly impressive winning yesterday, just head and shoulders above the others and his jumping is looking good too. Fingers crossed he is OK.

Thank god it is not serious,be such a shame if he cant defend his title and prove what a true star he really is!!!
Would be nice if they retired him after this yr and let him enjoy a more varied, relaxed life though, think he has earnt it!!!!

Just shows you what a tough pro' this horse is doesn't it as that must have been festering for some time, pus doesn't just appear just like that normally, it takes a few days as a rule.

Great race yesterday, he was so impressive once again especially if he was a bit sore.
