I'll keep it short and sweet as im way too tired to go into detail!!
Dressage: He was very good, nice and calm but couldnt really get the warm up I wanted as people were battleling it out for the very little flat space that there was to warm up in! Anyway, scored 33.3 which is consistent to what we've been getting (33.8 and 32.4 in the same test on last two outings so was pleased) Judge said we need a bit more 'oomph' so am going to work on that this week.
Showjumping: After our not so good showjumping round at Stafford, we were much improved today and jumped so much better and came away with a clear, yay!
CrossCountry: The course was quite tricky I thought, no where near as simple as Stafford as it came back on itself and was very hilly. We had one dodgy moment at a related distance of a roll top on a dog leg to a trakenher. Well, I decided to go on 4 strides but Shrimp decided to go on 3 and I nearly got jumped out of the saddle but somehow managed to stay on but apart from that he was fab and thought nothing of it. We came home within the time (which alot of people found hard to get) and finished on our dressage score!
Then we had to wait untill 4.30 for the results (we were finished at 11am) and we came 4th!
Shrimp got a bag of treats and i got £29
and I think we qualified for the PNRF aswell so it was a very good day!!
Thanks for reading and will post links to piccies when they're online
