I'll keep it short and sweet as im way too tired to go into detail!!

Dressage: He was very good, nice and calm but couldnt really get the warm up I wanted as people were battleling it out for the very little flat space that there was to warm up in! Anyway, scored 33.3 which is consistent to what we've been getting (33.8 and 32.4 in the same test on last two outings so was pleased) Judge said we need a bit more 'oomph' so am going to work on that this week.

Showjumping: After our not so good showjumping round at Stafford, we were much improved today and jumped so much better and came away with a clear, yay!

CrossCountry: The course was quite tricky I thought, no where near as simple as Stafford as it came back on itself and was very hilly. We had one dodgy moment at a related distance of a roll top on a dog leg to a trakenher. Well, I decided to go on 4 strides but Shrimp decided to go on 3 and I nearly got jumped out of the saddle but somehow managed to stay on but apart from that he was fab and thought nothing of it. We came home within the time (which alot of people found hard to get) and finished on our dressage score!

Then we had to wait untill 4.30 for the results (we were finished at 11am) and we came 4th!

Excellent! I watched some of your XC round and R commented on you! He said you'd gone into provisional lead at that time and glad you were placed so highly! Well done - it's got to be those Bill Levett clinics

and now we'll be doing the PNRF at Arley Hall the following week. All the hard work is finally paying off!

I thought it might have been R commenting because I heard the commentator say that Shrimp was an ex flat racehorse when im sure I only put ex-racehorse!! So someone must have known us

It was rather nice to be in the provisional lead for a short while and I think the clinics have helped!

You are a better person than me staying for 5 and a half hours for the resuls, I would have wanted to be home with tea by then!

I took Shrimp home and then came back as its only about 40 mins away. It wouldnt have been fair on him to stay there
