Kent and masters dressage saddle

I'm toying with the idea of buying a dressage saddle this year for my boy. My saddle fitter seems to think kent and masters will suit his shape nicely so would be looking at the s-series dressage saddle with surface blocks. My question really is what are they like? Never really experienced this brand before so just like some feedback from someone whose used them. Good or bad welcome. thanks in advance :)
 
I've had a Kent and a Masters GP saddle for 3 years now and I love it. It looks as good as new despite being used virtually daily - it cost £750 new which at the time was the cheapest leather saddle that my saddler supplied new. It is very comfortable and everyone who has ridden in it has commented on the comfort. Highly recommend- and if I was ever considering buying a dressage saddle, a K&M would be my first choice. On the GP I particularly like the movable knee blocks- gives a very secure position.
 
I got an s series jump saddle last November, I love it, the leather is so soft, it hasn't needed any breaking in, it's so comfortable.
Best £800 I have spent, as Tronk says it is very secure. It is also much lighter than most leather saddles too.
 
I don't like them I actually find it quite hard to ride in them and that's the gp and dressage I found the dressage a hindrance and honestly nearly the worst saddle I have ridden in (behind a wintec) which is odd as they look quite good!
 
I would use the search function, they are a big seller so you will get lots of opinions. Bear in mind that fitting your horse is of course the most important thing so if you fitter thinks they'll work then I'd take their advice. Different riders like different saddles.
 
Love my S series dressage with the surface blocks but I would agree with Farma, I think it's the kind of saddle you'll either love or hate depending on how held in you like to feel.
 
I'm a para dressage rider so I'm fussy about what I put my bum in.
I have a K&M surface block s series. I love it! It is very supportive and love the position I'm in when sitting in it. Before I had a ideal suzzannah which has a cut back head so it took me a while to get used to the pommel being a little lower in front.
I'd definitely buy another.
 
I've got a thorowgood dressage saddle and really like it. Admittidly it's the only dressage saddle I've ever ridden in, but it suits me well.
