There is no clinic that needs 411 stables. There is no request for PP for 411 stables. That was the stupid Daily Mail false reporting. There was always 411 stables there and they are now being sold. Another example of incorrect reporting and gutter press. We don’t need anywhere near that number. There are going to be 60 permanent stables and 50 visitor stables over the main side of the road. There are already 80-100 stables over the livery side of the road. But the 411 temporary’s were only ever temporary and were never staying.

Actually it was always bought as a private facility and that’s what it will be.

I think with the lack of stuff around Bedfordshire/Northamptonshire people assumed/hoped/prayed that Keysoe would continue as was but much much bigger/better etc.

I'd love for it to start doing competitions again but I would imagine effort v reward doesn't tally up.

And...being totally honest if i had a nice self sufficient yard would I have liveries? Would I have shows? Especially if I was busy competing and I assume the owners probably have several horses and compete alot here and abroad

Yes by invitation. Lots of different country teams coming and some basing themselves at Keysoe. Grassroots are welcome. It’s not about hundreds of people coming up daily. Many training liveries are on the wait list to base themselves at the new facility including International clients.

Don’t worry I’m working on 9 domestic abuse family cases with my lawyers with multiple court cases coming up. Self employed people often work through the night and sleep at funny hours to get the job done. Needs must

The thing is I'm not even that bothered if it was bought to be private and then closed. It is the constant mixed messages of what it is going to be used for, the condescending and aggressive tone often used against grassroot riders and the constant bickering about the affiliated bodies that gets mine and others backs up. Also making billions from a pandemic is a bit 😬 even if it wasn't technically wrong.

I wish you well in what your aiming for. I hope your olympic rider doesn't fail his dope test this time and has learnt from that error and does well.
 
Well, I didn't expect this thread to contain the rudest replies I have ever seen on HHO. I thought 'decent' people had good manners, were polite and respected the opinions and feelings of others, but clearly I am mistaken. I am also extremely confused about what anyone could think using such language (particularly on a public forum) could achieve.

I am horrified that someone who worked in, and with, the NHS could interact with strangers in such a mean and nasty way, with no regard for other people's mental health, and thinking that the use of the word 'moron' as an insult is in anyway acceptable. I had thought terms like that were extinct now they are commonly known to be offensive and derogatory regarding people with learning difficulties and psychological conditions, but apparently not. I (working in the NHS) would formally discipline any of my staff for behaviour like this, but I can't imagine them ever stooping to that.

I have never used UI but I can see the need for it now.

I would keep the word moron for jealous equestrians who are paranoid about what someone else has got. Get off your high horse. Pathetic scumbag bullying won’t get you anywhere and certainly won’t get you anywhere near keysoe. The types of people on this forum have wrecked it for everyone else to enjoy.

There is nothing illegal about retrospective planning at all. It’s a regularly used planning option.

If you are the owner of Keysoe previous HCP, and have a professional job in Singapore please take a step back. If you are not, you and they have a problem.

You’re choosing to misinterpret what people have written on this post. Comments certainly don’t have their routes in jealousy. I’m genuinely astounded that you choose to respond is such a vile and ignorant manner - when this thread (had it been needed) could have been an enormous asset to you.

I also feel pretty appalled that our Government is going to be paying off the PPE debt for many years to come - and have enabled someone like you (appear to be) to live a life of abject luxury on the back of our hard earned taxes. The gross payout simply couldn’t have gone to a less deserving person 😕

Don't worry I am not obsessed, if anything I feel a little sorry you have to make up such stories, plus I am bored of the endless football my old man is watching. Keep going and you will trip yourself up in a spectacular fashion.
